In the ambushments series, the first building is located at Hampstead Heath , where the subterranean London River ‘The Fleet’ rises above the ground. After feeding the Hampstead Ponds, The Fleet goes underground discharging to the River Thames. The building is located on a flat land where the trees are not as dense and stand like poles. It wraps around these pole a like trees, in some places taking them in.
The façade is equipped with flat display units and image sensors which help to camouflage the building by reflecting its surroundings, adapting to the changing scenery and lighting conditions. The façade becomes blur and indiscernible only rendering the entrance visible. Inside it is a Lido by day, Strip Club by night, which reflects the dual character of camouflage by imitation.
